WEEKLY UPDATE - LAUNCH PART 2!

April is coming to an end and so is the Amare Game Jam! I’m happy to say I’ve got two new endings done. They have been written, programmed, tested, and added to the game. Catsquerade Version 1.1 is now available on Itch!

GAME JAM REFLECTIONS:

I had really high hopes at the start of the game jam. Originally, I had wanted to finish up all four of the endings, but unfortunately that turned out to be a little too ambitious. To be honest, it’s been tough to pull my attention back here to finish up Catsquerade with another writing project eating up my focus. I never should have taken that pre-game jam break lol. 

That being said, I am happy to have gotten some things done. Over the past month, I’ve finished the Intro to Part II and two endings (Jefurry and Felixia) have been added to the game. For those following either of those two routes (or the drunk ending), the entire game is complete and can now be played from start to finish.

FUTURE UPDATES:

Going forward, there are two additional endings to make. All visual assets and audio assets are already in the game, so it’s just a matter of writing and programming.

~ Fido Ending: 10% written 0% programmed

I’ll be picking away at the other two endings (Fluffy and Fido) in between my other projects. When those endings are ready, they will launch in a future version of Catsquerade. In the meantime, this may be the last weekly update for a while!
